Game Channel is the app for the OpenFeint service itself, rather than a game with OpenFeint integration. Ther

e are several aspects of Game Channel: the Free Game of the Day, the Fire Sale, and the little OpenFeint leaf button that takes you to the OpenFeint forums. Game Channel is a free app that can be accessible within the App Store. Overall, Game Channel is the primary way of accessing OpenFeint.

What does Game Channel have?[]

Game Channel has many aspects that make it a fun and essential app for any OpenFeint user. Here is a breakdown of the primary aspects:

Free Game of the Day[]

Daily, the OpenFeint team will provide a free OpenFeint game available for download. Whether it be a puzzle

game, or a shooter like "Battle Bears", or a sim; if it is an OpenFeint game and it is eligible to be a Free Game of the Day, the OpenFeint team just might make it free. Most of the time, these apps cost a dollar or more, so if you truly think it is a good game that the OpenFeint team is giving away as a Free Game of the Day, you might as well get it because it might never be free again!

Fire Sale[]

Game Channel also has something called a Fire Sale. Similar in motive to the Free Game of the Day, the Fire Sale reduces the price of one selected game for one week every Friday. The games offered in the Fire Sale typically have more replay value or better gameplay than those featured as the OpenFeint Free Game of the Day. The Fire Sale is something worth waiting for if you want to save money on a good game.

Blog[]

New to Game Channel is the OpenFeint Blog, a blog by OFerONe that gives anecdotes on what's going on in the OpenFeint world and what's going on in the eyes of OFerONe. Blog posts might be serious, or they might be funny. If, one day on OpenFeint, you are bored out of your mind, maybe check out the Blog.
